In District 103, we believe a collaborative school community, which employs best educational practices, involves parents, reaches out to the community, and relies on high quality leadership teams, is what forms successful students.
We encourage parents/guardians to volunteer their time and talents to enrich both student learning and the school community in general.
Please learn more about these organizations comprised of volunteers who support student learning in our schools.
District 103 Parent Teacher Organization (PTO)
Your D103 PTO (www.d103pto.org) consists entirely of parent volunteers who feel strongly about improving the quality of our children's education. PTO provides valuable support and service to students at each of our schools.
You can also reach out to the 2017-2018 PTO President, Robin Babbo, at email@example.com.
The Learning Fund Foundation (LFF)
The Learning Fund Foundation (a parent volunteer organization for District 103) welcomes parents who are interested in serving on the LFF Board of Directors. As the District 103 educational foundation, The Learning Fund Foundation serves as a catalyst for innovation, enrichment, and educational excellence for the entire District 103 community. Please consider serving as a volunteer to help us achieve these objectives. The hours are flexible, and we meet at night (once per month). It's a wonderful way to be part of your child's educational experience.
For more information about the foundation, its recent initiatives, and volunteer opportunities, visit www.103learningfund.org or contact Jodi Welyki, President of LFF: firstname.lastname@example.org or (847) 830-3631 or email@example.com.
