Lincolnshire-Prairie View School District 103 is pleased to announce the appointment of Ali Finn as the new Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum, Instruction & Assessment. Ms. Finn will officially assume her role on Monday, January 5, 2026, welcoming staff back as they return for Teacher Institute Day.
Ms. Finn joins District 103 with extensive experience in educational leadership. She currently serves as the Executive Director of Instruction & Innovation at Lake Zurich Community Unit School District 95, where she leads district-wide initiatives in curriculum, instruction, and professional learning. Her background includes overseeing curriculum alignment across multiple content areas and guiding large-scale professional learning systems.
In addition to her administrative experience, Ms. Finn is currently a doctoral candidate in Leadership & Innovation at Purdue University, where she is researching data-driven systems for equity. She holds a Master of Arts in Leadership from Olivet Nazarene University and a Bachelor of Science in Education from Eastern Illinois University. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a commitment to creating student-centered systems that prepare learners for success in a rapidly changing world.
Deputy Superintendent and future Superintendent Dr. Katie Reynolds expressed her excitement regarding the appointment. "Ali is a strong administrator who comes to us with a deep grounding in curriculum and instruction. She is a highly intelligent individual who is compassionate and a team player. Her references stated that she was an exceptional administrator, and we are fortunate to have her lead our curriculum and instruction initiatives," Dr. Reynolds said.
Ms. Finn has expressed strong alignment with District 103’s strategic plan, particularly the district's focus on innovation, inquiry-based learning, and the development of the whole learner.
