Bringing Mascots to Life with 3D Printing

Bringing Mascots to Life with 3D Printing

STEM students recently explored creativity and technology through a classroom mascot project as seen in these photos. Using a digital design program called Tinkercad, students created their own mascots ranging from ducks and elephants to playful renditions of the Pringles man and other popular characters. Once the designs were complete, the entire class voted on their favorite mascot.

The winning design was then transformed from a digital drawing into a real-life model using a 3D printer. This hands-on project not only introduced students to the design process but also gave them the chance to see how ideas move from imagination to reality. It combined problem-solving, creativity, and teamwork while making learning both fun and memorable.
