June is Pride Month, a time to celebrate the LGBTQ community and recognize the contributions of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer individuals. It’s also a chance to honor the diversity and strength of this community.
On Sunday, students in the DW Free to Be Club marched in the seventh annual Buffalo Grove Pride Parade. This year’s theme was “Pride is Natural” and DW's students marched to show that being part of the LGBTQ community is as natural as it gets.
